Thank you!

Dear interested person:

I extend my deepest gratitude to those who worked long hours, or donated generously to make history. I am saddened, that the results (84,480) were not what we hoped for (or even expected). I will keep this site up, for a while, as a reminder of what we accomplished on this journey.

I extend my congratulations to my Senator Debbie Stabenow. As a constituent, I urge her to consider a different approach to government, or at least repeal a few laws she voted for in the past. I call on her to repeal indefinite detentions.

There will be other updates to this page. I have more to say about my future plans, and there are some note-worthy events or interviews to look back upon. I have been running for office since 1994. It has been a rewarding but exhausting run in electoral politics; now I rest.

In liberty,

Scotty Boman

PS: There is a silver lining in this election. Proposal M passed! Kudos to Tim Beck for his successful campaign in Detroit! Also, Allen Park Proposal 2 passed! Kudos to Tim O'Brien. Both Tims are Defender of Liberty award winners... Other marijuana law reforms passed around the state.
